Michelle is a graduate of Stetson University College of Law with an L.LM in Elder Law, Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law with a Juris Doctor, State College of Florida with a Paralegal Certificate, University of South Florida - Sarasota/Manatee with a Bachelor's Degree in History, University of Phoenix with a Master in Accountancy, and Florida Metropolitan University with a Bachelor's in Accounting.
A firm believer in education, she continues to encourage others by being an Adjunct Professor at State College of Florida since 2016. She teaches the Legal Research and Writing, Computerized Legal Research, Real Estate Law, Corporations and Business Organizations, and Administrative Law courses.
Michelle is also a cancer survivor! At the age of 34, she was diagnosed with Stage 3C Ovarian Cancer. Determined to not let cancer beat her, she was determined to attend Law School, often found studying for the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) during her chemo treatment stays at Moffitt Cancer Center.
She is now 10 years Cancer Free!
Additionally, Michelle and her husband have been breeding thoroughbred horses in Paris, Kentucky since 2011. Some of their best foals are: Danuska's My Girl - Multiple Graded Stakes and 2019 Breeder's Cup Filly and Mare Sprint runner; and Vieja Luna - Multiple Stakes Winner and 2016 Breeder's Cup Contender.
Michelle has been married to her best friend and husband of 22 years, Sergio.
Angelstar worked for the Veteran's Administration in Brooklyn, NY for over 10 years.
She graduated in 2017 with an Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies from State College of Florida. She received the honor of being admitted to Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX) , which is the national honor society founded by the American Association for Paralegal Education (AAfPE). LEX recognizes persons who have demonstrated superior academic performance evidenced by high Grade Point Averages (G.P.A.).
Angelstar is currently serving as the Secretary of the Paralegal Association of Florida.
Angelstar loves helping others. She spends her free time volunteering at the Y.M.C.A. in Manatee County an assisting with funding for various charities such as being a Committee Member for various Race Fundraisers and the Chili Cook-off.
Angelstar is married to a wonderful husband, Edwin, and has raised three children. She loves spending time with her two grandchildren.
Elysia will graduate in 2020 with an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from State College of Florida. She is currently a member of the national honor society, Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX) and student member of the Paralegal Association of Florida, Inc. (PAF).
An advocate and server at heart, she spends much her free time volunteering. Her volunteer positions have included mentor at Selah Freedom and a leadership role at her church.
Married for 14 years, Elysia and her husband, Matthew are happily raising three beautiful daughters.
